About Thiruvangad Sri Rama Temple
One of the Pancha Rama Kshetras (five sacred Rama temples) of Kerala. Located in Thalassery (Tellicherry), this is one of the oldest Rama temples in Kerala where Rama is enshrined in the standing form (Sthanaka). Associated with the legend of Parashurama who established the temple after clearing the forests.
