About Thirunavaya Navamukunda Temple

One of the 108 Divya Desams of Kerala, situated on the banks of the Bharathapuzha river. This temple is associated with the famous Mamankam festival that was held every 12 years on the Bharathapuzha sandbank — once the grandest gathering in Kerala. The Navamukunda deity (nine-faced Vishnu) is rare and sacred.
