An ancient 11th-century Kerala-style temple with a massive two-tiered copper-plated mandapam. One of the most architecturally significant temples of North Kerala, with outstanding murals in the traditional Kerala mural style inside the inner chambers. Considered one of the 108 Shiva temples (Ashtottara Shata Shiva Kshetras) of Kerala.
