About Haripad Subramania Swamy Temple
The most important Murugan temple in Kerala (most Murugan temples in Kerala are in Tamil Nadu style). The annual Haripad Boat Race on the Pampa river backwaters is a major Murugan festival celebration. The temple is unique in that it is Murugan's most famous shrine in central Kerala where he is worshipped in the Tamil tradition.
