An ancient Bhagavathy temple in Kozhikode known for the elaborate Theyyam performances that serve as worship. One of the main Theyyam centers of North Kerala where the living tradition of divine impersonation (Theyyam) is preserved. The annual festival is a major cultural and spiritual event drawing Theyyam artists from across Kannur and Kozhikode.
