One of the most revered Devi temples in Kerala, set on the Angadippuram hill in Malappuram. The Bharani festival in Karkidakam month is one of the most intensely spiritual temple festivals in Kerala — devotees from across the state converge for the unique rituals. The temple has close associations with the Zamorin rulers of Calicut.
